1909 eröffnete im damaligen "Rixdorfer Gesellschaftshaus" das "Excelsior Lichtspielhaus" - das erste Lichtspielhaus in Berlin. Und auch heute noch spürt man die Atmosphäre großer Kinotage - und das nicht erst beim Anblick der eindrucksvollen Rundbogenfenster im Saal 1. Ans Herz gelegt sei zudem ein Abstecher im Café im Foyer, das sich in einem Eisenbahnwaggon befindet - "Der Mord im Orientexpress" lässt grüßen.
